About Renue Physical Therapy

Renue Physical Therapy Wants You to Succeed!

Renue Physical Therapy was established in the Fall of 2011 with one clinic on Bay Road in Saginaw. Our goal from the start was to create a fully patient-focused practice model.

We take pride in offering one-on-one treatment with the same therapy team throughout the course of therapy, providing a customized plan that is specific to your needs to help you achieve the best possible outcomes.

Renue Physical Therapy has grown to 16 clinics serving the Great Lakes Bay Region and beyond, with locations in Auburn, Au Gres, Bay City, Bridgeport, Caro, Frankenmuth, Freeland, Midland, Oscoda, Saginaw, Shields, and Tawas.

Renue Physical Therapy is proud to maintain local ownership on both a corporate and clinic level. Our corporate office is located in downtown Bay City, in the heart of Renue’s service area. Each of our clinics has local leadership to help identify what services are best suited to the needs of their community.

Top 5 Reasons to Choose Physical Therapy

If you are experiencing chronic pain or an injury, it can be overwhelming to explore all the treatments options available, and you may be unsure what will work best for you.

Here are the top five reasons to choose physical therapy!

1. PERSONALIZED CARE.

Physical therapists are experts when it comes to muscles, joints, and movement, and are trained to address a wide range of issues. During your initial evaluation, your therapist will discuss your health goals to create a personalized plan for you.

At each visit, they will evaluate your progress and adjust your treatment accordingly. Whether your goal is to play tennis again, improve your balance or simply to sleep without pain, your therapist can help you achieve it.

2. NO DRAMATIC SIDE EFFECTS.

The main “side effect” of physical therapy is similar to what you’d expect from any exercise routine – a bit of soreness as you challenge your body and build strength.

These effects are much more manageable than those that come with other treatment options, including surgical recovery or medications that can have a wide range of side effects. Opioids in particular are often used to treat pain, and come with a high risk of addiction. Physical therapy offers a non-invasive treatment where the benefits far outweigh the side effects.

3. TREAT THE CAUSE.

Physical therapists have the knowledge and expertise to diagnose and treat the cause of your pain, not just mask your symptoms.

Treating the cause of pain and dysfunction helps create long term results, instead of using medication to temporarily mask the symptoms.

4. PARTICIPATE IN YOUR TREATMENT.

As part of your therapy, your therapist will educate you on how your body works, why certain treatments are important and what stretches and exercises can help you make the most progress toward your goals.

This will allow you to continue your recovery after discharge, and also give you the tools you need to help prevent injury and continue to manage your pain.

5. RESTORE YOUR OVERALL HEALTH.

Physical therapy can help you kick start or resume your health journey by treating your condition or healing your injury while looking at the big picture of your health. PT can help lay the groundwork and build strength for a healthier plan and outlook, allowing you to continue moving forward after treatment.

BONUS! GET THE MOTIVATION YOU NEED.

A bonus you’ll get from physical therapy is consistent encouragement and coaching throughout the treatment process. At Renue Physical Therapy, you’ll receive one-on-one treatment from the same therapy team at each visit. This allows you to create a bond with your therapist and help you gain the confidence you need to achieve your goals.
